Our team member, and former Oxford United player, Steve Basham, is running in the 2014 Oxford Half Marathon on behalf of the Charity SeeSaw in their Dream Team. The race takes place on 12th October and the finish line is the Kassam Stadium , home of Oxford United F.C. SeeSaw depends on the generosity of individuals and organisations to support their services. You can make a donation via Steve’s JustGiving page. It’s easy, fast and totally secure. Oxfordshire childrens charity, SeeSaw, has been called The great little charity with the big heart. One third of bereaved children can experience severe difficulties coming to terms with the death of a close family member. SeeSaw supports children at this critical time, so that they can move forward and face the future with hope. SeeSaws service includes tailored grief support for children, guidance and support to families, advice and training to professionals and accessible literature and resources. Jane Elliott, SeeSaw’s fundraiser says; “We are delighted that Steve is supporting SeeSaw in this way. We have places available for other runners to join Steve in his nostalgic running event.” See more about The MGroup’s Community support here.
